I'm hoping to have Friday-Monday free. I'm keen fro North Wales and Pembroke, but will probably call it according to the weather and partners.

the current plan in my head is beginning the bank holiday weekend - friday the 27th of august, most likely in pembroke, stay there for the bank holiday weekend so the weekenders maximize their climbing time with minimum travelling about, then heading southwards, over to torquay after a couple of days stopping off and climbing and maybe lazing around, then mooching across to portland/swanage for the finish. the only fixed part of this plan is the dates so if anyone has any better ideas then please get suggesting!

I've asked many seasoned Somerset cider drinkers and apparently Sheppy's is quite good, but the best around is Wilkins:

but Sheppy's is right there by the M5 so fair play.

Def! Was reading the article about Tryfan's Grooved Arete on UKC yesterday and have had my appetite whetted. A day of mountain multipitch is a must....maybe miss out the epic part though yeah?!

Ok we'll avoid the epics. I'm gonna buy a guide book for north Wales to drool over whilst I pretend to work.
